Chinese Style Roasted Chicken, Very Simple , easy and tasty!

Ingredients

Spring Chicken - 1 pc

Chinese rice wine - 2 tablespoon

Light soy sauce - 3 tablespoon

Dark soy sauce - 1 tablespoon

Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon

5 spice powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Sichuan peppercorn powder - 1/2 teaspoon

White pepper power - 1/2 teaspoon

Sea salt - a pinch

Star anise - 2 pcs

Bay leave - 4 pcs

Instruction :

1. Mix all seasonings in a small bowl ( except sea salt )

2. Use kitchen towel to pat-dry the chicken, use a scissors to cut the middle back of chicken down to the bottom

3. Use a knife to slice the cartilage so the chicken can be placed on the tray evenly

4. Add the marinade and the chicken into a big bowl and let it marinate for at least half a day up to one night

5. Use tin foil to wrap the end of chicken wings and drumstick to avoid them from getting burn

6. Pre-heat oven 200 degree, then roast it for 30 mins

7.Take out the chicken and let it rest in room temperature for 10mins, seasoning it with a pinch of salt then its ready to eat
